While royalty-free content is widely used within the ad world, research showed that the term “stock” still held a bad rap among some creatives. To counter that mindset, this campaign flipped the script by showcasing jaw-dropping, scroll-stopping visuals with the power to make any brand, product, or service stand out.

I was responsible for concept and creative direction, while also providing scripts, storyboards, and display ad copy/curation.

The results included an 18% lift in website traffic for Q3 and Q4, as well as 8 industry awards including a Webby, One Show Award, Wood Pencil, Shorty Bronze Honor, and 300+ press mentions.

 

A recurring thread throughout these ads is a twist in the third act—the reveal.
This isn’t actually a dating app/airline/beer promo—it’s proof that you can create top-tier, eye-catching work for any industry thanks to Shutterstock.
